課程概述

1. 本課程為「中級三」課程，提供通過臺大國際教育中心華語課程「中級二」課程者，或經由本校分班測驗判定適合學習中級三者。

2. 本課程使用的教材為《遠東生活華語三》（第一課～第十一課），搭配教師自編講義，旨在培養學習者「聽說讀寫」四方面的語言能力，使學生生活不因語言不通而有障礙。此外，盼透過課堂上的互動與討論，使學生進一步了解華語及台灣文化。

課程目標

1. 學生能習得處理日常生活事務的基本表達能力，流利並得體地使用華語與他人溝通。

2. 學生能運用課程所學，靈活運用口語、書面語表達個人想法，並能更深入地與華人討論各項議題，瞭解華人思想方式與文化內涵。

3. 學生能讀、寫正體字，且聽、說兩項能力達到課程標準。

課程要求

1. 上課前，請準備聽寫用的A4活頁紙。
Please prepare A4 loose-leaf papers for in-class quizzes and for assignment.

2. 每次上課，請攜帶課本與講義。
Bring all the materials you supposed to use when you come to class.

3. 上課時，請說中文，不說英文及其他非中文的語言。
Please use Chinese exclusively in class.

4. 上課時，請積極參與課程討論與活動，聽老師和同學的發言與討論。不該做其他和課程無關的事情。
Participate in classroom activities and class discussion is essential. Please do not engage in other things that are not related to the course during class hour.

5. 上課期間，若非本課程需要，請勿使用手機、電腦等電子產品，並請將手機轉為震動或靜音。
Please do not use cell phone, laptop, iPad and any electronic devices during the class (except asked by teacher for class activities). Phones must be set on silent mode during class time.

6. 上課時可以喝水、喝飲料，但是不能吃東西。
Water or other beverages are allowed, but no food is allowed in class.

7. 請尊重老師和同學。如果上課時，發生同學之間，或師生之間的爭執，或是上課時學生離題、發表歧視言行的情況，教師將視情況打斷學生發言，以維護課程順利進行。
Be respectful of each other in classroom, Topics discussed in class should be related to the course. If students argue with classmates or the teacher in class, which is effect on the class going on smoothly, the teacher will end the topic anytime. Or, if students talk too much to stray into the topic is not related to the course, the teacher also will interrupt them anytime.

※ 以上規定列入平時成績，要是違反規定，經老師警告三次後，第四次開始扣分。每次每項扣1分。
All requirements mentioned above are related to the score under “Attendance and Performance”. Any violation will be warned by the teacher in person. Start from the 4th offence, one point will be deducted each time of the violation of the class requirements.

1.	課堂出席與課程參與表現 Attendance and Performance	15%	1. 每一次上課皆應簽到。 Students must sign their name on the attendance sheet. 2. 準時上課，不可無故遲到或早退。遲到或早退超過二十分鐘，視為缺席一小時。 Please attend the class on time. Do not leave the class earlier than the scheduled time. Late for class more than 20 minutes or leave class 20 minutes earlier than the scheduled time will be regarded as one-hour absence. 3. 要是因故無法出席，應在上課前寫email向老師請假。每個學生一個學期可以有3次缺席（九個小時，含遲到、早退），老師不會扣分，但是請在上課前寫email向老師請假。第十個小時開始，每個小時扣出席成績1分。 Please inform the teacher by email in advance if you are unable to attend the class. Students are allowed to have a maximum of 9 hours excused absence (including late-coming and early-leaving). From the 10th hour on, students will lose 1 point per hour.
2.	作業成績 Homework	20%	1. 作業包含造句、寫文章和其他強化能力的作業。 Homework includes making sentences, writing narrations or other exercise that aims to strengthen language abilities. 2. 請在老師指定的日期交回作業。遲交該份作業扣十分，且應在一週內補交。超過一週以上未交的作業，以0分計算。 All assignment must be handed in on time. 10 points will be deducted for late homework. Assignments not received within one week after the deadline will not be accepted, and students will not get any point. 3. 作業可以手寫，也可以用電腦打字的方式完成。Homework can be handwritten or typed.
3.	平時考成績 Quizzes and Tests	20%	1. 除了期中考試和期末考試以外，原則上每次上課都有聽寫考試。如果因故不能參加考試，不能補考。期末選最好的20次列入聽寫成績。 The dictation quiz will be given almost every class time. No make-up quiz provided. The best 20 scores will be picked at the end of the semester. Time of dictations will be listed on Ceiba, please check the quiz time before the class. 2. 每上完兩課有複習考試，複習考試時間列於Ceiba上，皆為該天上課最後一個小時。考試主要為筆試（含聽力測驗）。若因故無法參加考試，每個人有2次申請補考的機會（需在考試後一週內完成補考）。 A review test will be given for every two lessons (including written test and listening comprehension) will be given after every two lessons. Time of tests will be listed on Ceiba. Every student has two chances to apply for a make-up test. The make-up test has to be taken within one week of the original exam date.
4.	期中考試 Mid-term Exam	20%	1. 包括筆試、聽力測驗及口試。 The mid-term exam includes written test, listening comprehension and oral test. 2. 若因故無法參加，必須事先知會老師，並完成網路請假手續，方可在3天內進行補考。若沒能於指定日期考試或補考者，考試成績以0分計算。 The mid-term exam will be given on the assigned date. Students who cannot take the exam on scheduled date need to notify the teacher in advance at least one day earlier and complete the online leave procedure before the exam date, and then they can take the make-up exam within 3 days. If students cannot take the exam on the scheduled date or make up exam in 3 days, they will get 0 point on mid-term exam.
5.	期末考試 Final Exam	25%	1. 包括筆試、聽力測驗、口試及口頭報告。 The final exam includes written test, listening comprehension, oral test and an individual oral presentation. 2. 若因故無法參加，必須事先知會老師，方可在3天內進行補考。若沒能於指定日期考試或補考者，考試成績以0分計算。 The final exam will be given on the assigned date. Students who cannot take the exam on scheduled date need to notify the teacher in advance at least one day earlier and complete the online leave procedure before the exam date, and then they can take the make-up exam within 3 days. If students cannot take the exam on the scheduled date or make up exam in 3 days, they will get 0 point on final exam.
